The Story Behind Deep Woods

Deep Woods was originally formulated by one of our owners during his experience with Lyme disease. His extensive research into medicinal mushrooms, traditional herbal preparations, and botanical approaches to tick-borne illness shaped the blend we continue to make today.
The formula brings together five medicinal mushrooms: chaga, turkey tail, hemlock reishi, lion's mane, and birch polypore. To these we add Japanese knotweed, a plant rich in resveratrol with a long history of use in traditional Chinese medicine.
Each ingredient was thoughtfully selected for its traditional uses and the growing scientific interest in immune function, inflammation, antioxidant activity, and overall resilience.
